For anyone living in OC and being treated for cancer, great location and very clean office and treatment rooms. Every visit, I was cared for and treated with excellence. Courtney and Hannah always were positive and welcoming.
Nurses were amazing! They got to know me and were so personable. They helped me book appointments for the times I needed. Even worked with me when traffic was awful and I was late. Come to Texas!
My very first interaction was with Matt, and he was so kind and caring. It was a very stressful time for me and his compassion and support was incredible since he had never met me. I felt like a family member being welcomed and cared for.
HCI helped me temporarily relocate for care. It was a big decision for me since I have a family and a son who I had a hard time being away from. However, Matt connected me with the local hospital, local contacts for accommodations, even flight options, and he really fought for me for insurance coverage, he went above and beyond to plead my case for more treatments, and I knew from working with them how time consuming speaking with them could be. Overall, I am very grateful for my time spent at the clinic, everything was arranged perfectly. Plus, I can attest that I had great results from the treatment.

The energy and environment you provide for healing is amazing. All your staff is so beyond professional and treats us patients so good. I have felt so beyond taken care of while there. First of all I believe I'm still here because I chose to do hyperthermia each day I was scheduled for SBRT Meridian at UCLA. Not only did my results turn out amazing; 14 months out PSI below 1 recent MRI showed no cancer. I have not a single side effect in all this time. I had decided not to go along with anti androgen therapy. My testosterone level is been steady at a normal level for a 40 year old and I'm 75. Getting to the staff; Matt who was so helpful and convincing for me to begin the therapy, owe him a lot of gratitude. All the ladies that worked with me each day were amazing. Wish I could remember all their names. I did much research myself on hyperthermia as an addition to radiation therapy finding very little but what I did read made sense to me to go forward. The doctor there helped convince me it was a viable solution. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel well cared for.
My mom received hyperthermia here in conjunction with five rounds of chemotherapy for her stage four lung cancer. She saw a reduction in tumor burden by over 50% and her cancer stabilized.The team at HCI is thoughtful and caring - I recommend hyperthermia for all cancer patients undergoing chemo or radiation.
I went to Hyperthermia cancer institute 5-6 days a week for 4 weeks. On my birthday, I received a call from my oncologist and they could not find a trace of tumor in the MRI. The tumor went to a zero! It is a complete success. I am so happy to have come to HCI.
